Chocolate Cake Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup fresh milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (alcohol-free)
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix sugar and eggs until well combined.
  3. Add milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
  4. Sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until smooth.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
  7. Bake for 30–35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Let the cake cool, then cut and serve.
