Ingredients
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup fresh milk
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp vanilla extract (alcohol-free)
- A pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a baking pan.
- In a bowl, mix sugar and eggs until well combined.
- Add milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
- Sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until smooth.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool, then cut and serve.
