Finally made classic fried catfish — golden, crispy, and full of Southern soul 🐟🔥

Cornmeal-crusted with a perfect crunch outside and tender, flaky fish inside. Comfort food at its best.

Ingredients:

4 catfish fillets, 1 cup buttermilk, 1 cup cornmeal, ½ cup flour, 1 tsp paprika, 1 tsp garlic powder, salt & pepper, oil for frying.

Instructions:

Soak catfish in buttermilk (30 min). Mix dry coating.

Dredge fillets, fry at 175°C until golden and crisp (3–4 min per side). Drain and serve hot with lemon + hot sauce 💛🐟
