Banana Bread Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting – Moist, Sweet & Dreamily Creamy!

Ingredients:
For the cake:

2 cups mashed ripe bananas (about 4)

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 tsp baking soda

½ tsp salt

½ cup butter, softened

1 cup sugar

2 large eggs

1 tsp vanilla extract

½ cup sour cream or Greek yogurt

For the frosting:

8 oz cream cheese, softened

¼ cup butter, softened

2 cups powdered sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.

In another bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, vanilla, bananas, and sour cream; mix until smooth.

Gradually stir in dry ingredients until just combined.

Pour batter into pan and bake for 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely.

For the frosting, beat cream cheese and butter, then add powdered sugar and vanilla until creamy.

Spread frosting over cooled cake and chill slightly before slicing.
